Two Upcoming Events (Posted on 4/23/2009)

Just a quick reminder that tonight at 6pm is the Cruise-In at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Terre Haute. We are co-hosting this event, so please join us and show your support. The public is welcome, too!

Fun, Food, Friends, Music, Prizes, and Cool Cars!! Awards for best classic, best modified, and the weekly fan favorite! $5 to register any make, model of car which qualifies you for VIP parking, dinner discounts, opportunity to win car show. First 25 to register receive a commemorative dash plaque.

Saturday from noon to 5 is our cruise-in to A&W in Clay City. Bring as many cars as you can and let’s have a good turn out!

The first car show planning meeting will be tonight, Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at 7:00 PM at the Duke Energy Building. This is the big planning meeting, so if you have something to say or want to do, you need to be there or tell someone who will be there.

Newport Hill Climb Parade (Posted on 9/2/2008)

I have received an entry form for the Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb Parade on Saturday, Oct 4th. If there is enough interest in club participation, I’ll submit the form. Entry deadline is Sept 21. I’ll bring it up at the next Club Meeting on Sept 11, but if you know you’re not going to be at the meeting, and you would like to participate, let me know.

Labor Day Mustang Monday (Posted on 9/1/2008)

If you’re interested in doing something on Labor Day, you can meet us in Brazil. Park at the Terre Haute Savings Bank, across from Walgreens and Hardee’s, and we’ll walk to Mario Bros. Mexican restaurant just down the road. Afterwards, we might cruise to The Freeze or Dairy Queen for ice cream. Meet at 5:45 at THSB.

Green Acres (Twice in a week!) (Posted on 8/25/2008)

On Saturday, September 13, Green Acres on Rosedale Rd is hosting a Cruise-In from noon to 4 pm. There will be dash plaques to the first 75, and music by Just Cruisin'.

The following Monday is our second-to-last Mustang Monday, also at Green Acres. Stop by and get what you can before they close for the winter!

Huge success for festival

On May 31, United Methodist Temple conducted it first annual “Spring Into Summer Fest” on the church grounds. It was a huge success beyond all our expectations.
The success of this event was due to many factors including the assistance of area businesses and individuals. We offer a sincere thank you to them. These include:
