Brazil, Indiana Cruise-IN
This Saturday, June 14 from 5-7 pm we will be hosting a Cruise In, Cookout, and Family Fun Day at the Brazil Nazarene Church at 1002 E. National Ave.
If you or someone you know has a cool car, truck or motorcycle we'd love to have it at our cruise in. It is free to join us and all drivers and one guest who bring a car to the cruise in will get a free meal! We will have a people's choice award and the winner will receive a very nice gift basket full of surprises. Davis Street between our church and East Side Elementary will be closed to traffic. We will have cars who are participating in the cruise in enter from US 40 unto Davis Street and then into the parking lot in front of East Side school. All others are asked to park in the east parking lot of the church.
There will be good food on the grill, homebaked goodies, cool drinks and more. All food will be very economically priced as we know most of your money goes in your gas tank now. We will have a jump house for the kids. You can also try your hand at our dunking booth. We have a special guest, Brazil city police chief, Terry Harrison, will take a turn. Jump house and dunking booth cost only a quarter a turn!
We will also have a vacation Bible school registration table set up so you can register your child for VBS which will be June 16-20 from 6:30-8:45 pm. Children ages 3-11 are invited to join us. We will have a special class for our middle schoolers, too. Our theme this year is Custom Garage. We will have bus and van service each night of VBS, too. Be sure to sign your kids up for pickup if needed. You can also pick up information about our Kidz Klozet which offers free children's clothing to anyone who has a need.
We hope you'll join us for the fun. Everyone is welcome. Please forward this email to your friends and family and we sure hope to see you Saturday evening. It's a cool way to treat dad to some fun, too.
God Bless!

Bonfire at Neil's!!!
[Invitation to Club members and their friends and family]
Howdy all!
This year I've decided to have my annual (or at least one of my annual burns) Bonfire over the Memorial day holiday weekend instead of around Halloween (mainly due to the fact that likely hood that everything is dry is a little bit better now than in October). This years fire will not be as big as the last couple (I'm hoping that this way it will be all done with by Monday evening :8'), the last few burned for too many days after the fact.
On the menu is whatever you make it... Bring a covered dish and I'llhave Hot dogs, Hamburgers and my special 3 Beer Pork and Bean chili (No beer in it, but you can easily milk 3 beers in the amount of time it takes to make the 3BPBC.
Bring your Lawn Chairs, Liquid Livation and a covered dish... (You can bring whatever you wish, either main course or desert).
I'm planning on starting around 7:30 or 8:00pm on FRIDAY May 23rd(THIS FRIDAY). Sorry about the short notice, but I was thinking thatMemorial day weekend was still 2 weeks away!
Please RSVP and let me know if you can make it and how many to expect in your group. You can either call me <snip> or send me areply to this email: <snip> (*Editor's note: email wvmc[at]live(dot)com for info.)If you need directions, just give me a call and I can get you in the area fairly easily...
Hope to see ya'll Friday!

Upcoming Car Show
The following came from the Mustang Club mailbag.
Hi, My name is Michele Loveall and I am the sponsor/teacher for a group of students at McLean High School. The group is Project "SHOC" (students helping our community). We are hosting our first car show at the school on May 3 and would like to invite your club to participate. There is a $10.00 entry fee for the show. Audio Plus is helpng us run the show since this is our first. 100% of the entry fees raised will be used to purchase items for the pediatric unit at Union Hospital. At the same time as the car show, we will also be having our annual car wash and concession sales. This income goes to the literacy activities that the group does throughout the school year with elementary children. We would like very much for your club to participate in our car show. We will be advertising on the radio, television, and through the newspaper and several web-sites to try and get area car buffs to come and see the cars. If you have any questions, please contact me. If you have a group of members interested in participating, please let me know so we will have an idea of the number of cars to expect. Thank you, Michele school (812)462-4330 nights (812)208-9246

Purdue Grand Prix Car Show
Greetings,
Since 1958 Purdue University has been home to the “greatest spectacle in college racing”: the Purdue Grand Prix. This 50-mile race takes place on a track carefully modeled after the World Kart Championship track in Japan. Since 1999 the Purdue Automotive Performance Association has sponsored a car show in conjunction with the Grand Prix event.
We would like to invite you and your organization to participate in our Grand Prix Car Show on April 19th, 2008. For the 2008 show there will be a variety of judged classes, with awards going to the top 2 cars in each class (proposed classes are on the following page). There will also be prizes for other general awards, such as "best of show".
Attached to this letter is our flyer, a list of the awards, pre-registration form, and directions to the show. We do ask that one registration form be completed for each car entered. If you need more copies of the packet, feel free to contact us and we can send you extras, or you can simply make copies of the portion that needs to be returned. Please forward this email to anyone you know that might be interested in attending.
